This subseries contains handwritten notes, Pomona College course syllabi and lecture notes, newspaper and magazine clippings, correspondence, book reviews, college papers written by Stonehill, and photocopies from books. Much of the material in this subseries served as working files for Stonehill's classes and professional projects.

Citations of book titles on Stonehill's original folders were retained in processing this subseries, along with publication dates. Publication dates are located in parenthesis after the italicized book titles.
