This series contains flyers from the Bay Area in California and Rancho Cucamonga, California advertising punk shows at various venues. These flyers are from the late 1970’s to the 1980’s displaying punk bands, such as The Dead Kennedy’s and U2, playing at famous punk venues, such as On Broadway, the Old Waldorf, and Mabuhay (Fab Mab). The flyers convey art typical of the punk era.

This folder contains flyers advertising for concerts featuring the bands Church, The Plugz, Thee Undertakers, Saccharine Trust, Ozie Hares, Stains, Kaos, Circle Jerks, Castration Squad, Adolescents, No Alternative, Mau Mau's, Stain, Red Cross, China White, Social Distortion, Discords, T.S.O.L. (True Sounds of Liberty, The Statute of Limitations), Middle Class, Red Rockers, Victims, 100 Flowers, Angry Samoans, U.K. Decay, Social Unrest, and Wasted Youth. The Vex was a central venue for the Los Angeles Chicanx (Chicana/Chicano/Chican@) punk scene.
