Scope and Contents
This series contains newspaper clippings and photographs of Jackson from the 1940s and 1950s. The newspapers clippings cover Jackson’s reunion at Wauwatosa High School, his appointment at Northland College, and fellowship to study in Paris. The series contains a photograph and two handwritten letters to Jackson’s mother, Ruth Jackson. The series contains programs from the Fallbrook Music Society and Brenda Montiel’s funeral. The series contains an academic journal, Musica Disciplina, dedicated to Jackson’s good friend Gilbert Reaney. In addition, the series contains Jackson’s final work, in Studi Musicali, which was published posthumous in 2015. The series also contains two VHS tapes.
