Biography / Administrative History
The Pomona College organizations and clubs represented in this collection are longstanding institutions which remain active to this day.
The Associated Students of Pomona College (ASPC), is the college's student government organization. Formed in 1904, the ASPC includes the student senate, and provides resources such as course planning, reviews, and guides to campus life and resources.
The Glee Club began in 1891 as the Men's Glee Club, which performed throughout California. This was followed by the organization of the "Ladies Glee Club of Pomona College" in 1902-1903. In 1951, these separate clubs combined into the current co-ed Glee Club. The club performs reguarly both on and off campus, including international and domestic tours.
