Elliott (Raymond Morgan) Papers
Scope and Contents
The Raymond Morgan Elliott Papers focus on Mr. Elliott’s interest in Russian history, particularly what became of the Czarist royal family. Original photographs of Siberia, diaries and correspondence date from the time when, as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army, Mr. Elliott was with the American Expeditionary Forces in Siberia, September 2, 1918 to August, 1919. Miscellaneous manuscript notes, articles, and notebooks; and clippings, accompany a few books on early twentieth century Russian history. Also includes Pomona College memorabilia, 1917-1967. Mrs. Elliot, Pomona College 1917; Mr. Elliot was a school administrator at Orange Coast College, Huntington Beach, California.
