Scope and Contents From the Series: This series consists of letters, postcards, and radiograms from 1926 to 1977 from Ch’en’s friends, family, students, colleagues, publishers, and the Republic of China government, as well as Ch’en’s correspondence drafts. Ch’en kept in contact with Chinese scholars such as Hu Shih, Fu Ssu-nien, Lin Yutang, and Chiang Mon-lin to discuss academic issues, education methods, and contemporary political situations.
