This series comprises periodical and newspaper articles and short monographs written about Frederic W. Goudy. The bulk of the materials dates from the late 1930s through late 1947s, and includes a substantial number of obituaries, appreciations, and tributes published in the years immediately following Goudy's death in 1947. The newspaper articles include accounts of Goudy's visits to Scripps College and his designs for Scripps College Old Style type.
