Labeled: "OP 49". Born Mount Vernon, Iowa, 7 April 1852, died Los Angeles, California, 10 June 1932, married 1867: William Wallace Byam (1846-1918). Catalog: "Her father was one of the first contributors to Mount Vernon College--Established a scholarship. [Photograph] [t]aken [at Cedar Rapids] to give to her two Uncles (Amos and Samuel Day), leaving for California gold field".
