Scope and Contents

The Zamorano Club Collection holds invitations, booklets, booklists, correspondence, keepsakes, membership lists, and other memorabilia documenting the history of the group of Los Angeles bibliophiles. The bulk of the collection is found in the invitations from 1930 to 2015, related to the meetings the Zamorano Club hosts. Also of note are the booklets, keepsakes, booklists, and catalogs published by the Zamorano Club. Additionally, the membership lists and correspondence between these members provides insight into the individuals who comprise the club.

Within this collection, there are also items not directly affiliated with the Zamorano Club, but were included in the Zamorano Club donations. These include newspaper clippings mentioning the Zamorano Club and materials from other book clubs, such as the Roxburghe Club.
