Goudy, issued by the two companies--American Type Founders Compan (ATF) and Lanston Monotype Machine Company--for whom he designed types, or by other companies that distributed the types under license. The Goudy Catalogue and Italic, and Goudy Extrabold and Italic issued by American Type Founders Company were not designed by Goudy, but by Morris Fuller Benton.
