Scope and Contents of the Collection

From the Collection:

The Pomona College Audiovisual Collection is an artificial collection of audiovisual materials documenting conferences, lectures, memorial services, commencement and convocation ceremonies, performances, and other Pomona College events on campus. An assortment of interviews, television appearances, and music by Pomona College-related individuals is also included. Additionally, a selection of feature-length films and television episodes shot on the Pomona College campus are featured within the collection. The collected materials date from 1933 to 2017 and feature a wide range of analog and digital audiovisual formats including reel to reel tapes, cassette tapes, phonograph records, CDs, DVDs, VHS, Betamax, and U-matic tapes, and 16mm film. Materials within the collection are not currently digitized. The collection is current and is still accruing materials.
