Abstract Professor Ch'en Shou-yi (Chinese: 陳受頤, 1899-1978) was a Chinese scholar known for his groundbreaking contribution to the comparative cultural studies of modern China and the historical studies of Sino-Western cultural exchange. This collection contains the personal papers of violinist Kenneth G. Fiske, who joined the Pomona College faculty in 1936. A musical prodigy, Fiske studied at many prestigious music programs and under prominent European and American instructors.
