This collection contains the papers of Pomona College Classics professor Harry J. Carroll Jr. Carroll taught at Pomona from 1949 until 1983, and was a key actor in the development of Pomona's art history program. He taught classes on ancient Greek and Roman art and lectured both at Pomona and Claremont Graduate University for the Fine Arts program. The Edith Potter Papers include Potter's manuscripts, typed and handwritten notes, photocopies of academic literature, correspondence, photographs, awards, and microfilm.
