Overview The Marianne Moore (1887-1972) papers include photos, correspondence, articles, writings, and interviews related to the life and work of the American poet. Her cousin, Mary Louise Schneeberger, had a daughter named Paula who attended Scripps and graduated in 1956. That same year, Moore visited the campus in October. Overview This collection contains the papers of Mrs. Humphry Ward (1851-1920), a British writer at the end of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth centuries. The collection consists of letters between Mrs. Ward and her publishers, family and friends, photographs, miscellaneous documents, and notebooks that hold drafts of her novels and articles. The collection spans the years 1885-1919.
