This collection contains materials belonging to Edith E. Moore (’26) and C. Raymond Fowler (’50) primarily relating to student life at Pomona College. Materials include event programs and ephemera, photographs, postcards, class officer meeting minutes, and reunion materials for the Pomona College Class of 1950.

Abstract The Oriental Study Expedition Archive contains records and memorabilia from a year-long expedition embarked in 1929 by ten Pomona College students to immerse themselves in Chinese life, culture, and religion. The students traveled and studied throughout China, primarily in the Guangdong province, Shanghai, and Beijing, and visited Hawaii, Japan, and Korea as well. The Pitzer History Project was started in 1968 by founding faculty member and history professor, Werner Warmbrunn. It is a collection of oral history interviews of students, alumni, faculty and staff as well as recordings of significant events on Pitzer's campus.

The Poe Family Collection of Pomoniana features materials belonging to alumni Arlo David Poe (’23), Nadine Lucille (Merriam) Poe (’24), and Joan (Poe) Lowry (’49) that highlight campus life and events at Pomona College from 1920 to 1949.

The collection includes video recordings of oral history interviews and panel discussions that took place during the World War II Symposium, “Focus on a Generation: Pomona College and the WWII Years” over Alumni Weekend on April 27th and 28th, 2001. The collected video recordings feature Pomona College alumni discussing civilian life, including life on campus, as well as military and other experiences during the war years.
