Abstract The Marianne Moore (1887-1972) papers include photos, correspondence, articles, writings, and interviews related to the life and work of the American poet. Her cousin, Mary Louise Schneeberger, had a daughter named Paula who attended Scripps and graduated in 1956. That same year, Moore visited the campus in October. This is an artificial collection created by Special Collections staff to contain the various visual materials purchased or donated that do not fit into other collections. Currently, the collection contains photographs, artist screenprints and photos, posters, historical broadsides, and artifacts.
