The Yamano Japanese Internment collection contains materials pertaining to the life of Japanese Americans before, during, and after World War II. Many of the materials in the collection document their time in relocation and internment facilities. Sakae and Matsuzo Yamano emigrated from Japan to California in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
