Abstract

The Suzanne Macpherson Papers include correspondence, photographs, periodicals, journals, notebooks, manuscripts, and artifacts documenting Macpherson's experience as an American Red Cross Clubmobile girl during World War II from 1941-1945, and her subsequent travels and career as an author.

Abstract Mary Patterson Routt was one of the original signers of the founding articles for Scripps College and served on the college's first board of trustees from 1926 to 1965. She was also one of the first female Washington correspondents and had a nationally syndicated column from 1933 to 1945.
